2026 Iowa Senior Games Registration

Competitors are encouraged to bring their own racquet. Shuttlecocks will be provided. Participants will play a single elimination tournament within their age groups

Teams will play a single-elimination tournament within their age group if possible. The Iowa Senior Games will attempt to guarantee teams at least two games during the competition. Each individual team member must register. Managers are responsible to mail in a completed team roster (located at http://www.iowaseniorgames.org/SISGRegister). Rosters will be checked prior to competition to ensure all team members have registered for the Iowa Senior Games.

$10 per event (includes three games and shoe rental)

Participants can compete in both the Singles and Doubles event for the entry fee. For Doubles, teams will consist of two people. Teams can be all male, all female, or coed. If you and your partner fall in different age categories, your team must play in the lower age bracket. Brackets will be broken up based on the following age groups: 50 - 69 70 - 79 80 + Format will be double elimination or round robin, depending on the number of teams that register.

This is the Granny Basketball State Championships. Teams must be associated with Granny Basketball and adhere to their rules. Managers are responsible to mail in a completed team roster. Rosters will be checked prior to competition to ensure all team members have registered for the Iowa Senior Games. Roster forms can be downloaded at http://iowaseniorgames.org/SISGRegister

Note: Estimated start times for Doubles/Singles will be emailed to participants prior to the Iowa Senior Games. ***Competition format is subject to change depending on number of participants. Division 1: 4.5 - 5.0 Division 2: 3.5 - 4.0 Division 3: 1.0 - 3.0 Individuals are welcome to play up a skill level not down. Sign up under your individual skill level and you will be properly paired with your doubles and mixed doubles partners (if applicable). When registering, you will be asked to put in your rating. If you do not have a player rating, you can self rate at http://pickleballiowa.com/ratingdescriptions.pdf. If you are a USAPA member you must provide your USAPA rating

Participants must provide their own racquets. Balls will be provided. If possible, participants will play a single round-robin tournament within their age group.

Cues and discs are provided, but participants may use their own cues.

Any changes to your entries on the day of competition must be made no later than 11:00 am. Competitors in the 500 Freestyle will need to provide someone to count laps. Paddles and balls will be provided, however, a participant may use their own paddle as long as it meets USTTA competition guidelines. Orange shirts or jackets are not permitted for competition, per USA Table Tennis rules.
